At Harris Hearth Breads, Our journey began with a simple idea: to bring the warmth of old-world baking into the heart of our New England community. What started in a home kitchen in Acton, Massachusetts has grown into a dedicated pursuit of excellence in naturally leavened, handcrafted breads—each one rooted in tradition and shaped by hand.

We specialize in sourdough breads with organic local ingredients—from traditional country slourdough to our signature panettone—crafted with a deep respect for process and ingredients. Our methods are slow by design. We use wild sourdough cultures, local flours, and seasonal ingredients, allowing time and temperature to do their quiet, transformative work.
